Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda's most popular savanna park and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The park offers diverse ecosystems including savanna, wetlands, lowland forest, and crater lakes.

Famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector and boat safaris on the Kazinga Channel, the park is home to over 95 mammal species and 600 bird species. The dramatic backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains adds to the park's spectacular scenery.
