Nyungwe Forest National Park

Nyungwe Forest National Park is one of Africa's oldest rainforests and Rwanda's largest protected area. This pristine montane rainforest is home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees and colobus monkeys.

The park features an impressive canopy walkway, offering visitors a unique perspective of the forest from 50 meters above the ground. Nyungwe is also a birder's paradise with over 300 bird species recorded.
